What Will You Do For Jesus Christ?

Bro. Jed Journal, February 2010

Mike Orr, who daily witnesses with me at the University of Arizona campus, has a rare lung disease and carries Mike Orroxygen at all times.  Normally, he needs a lot of rest; but he said to Sister Cindy, “I am energized whenever Brother Jed comes to campus.”  The Holy Spirit will do that, especially when we use His power for what it was primarily intended, to be His witnesses (Acts 1:8).

Mike had a great impact talking to students on the sidelines six hours a day.  He asks the students, What do you think about this man?  They say, “Bro. Jed?”  Mike says, No, I want to know what you think about the man that he is talking about: Jesus. This leads to many fruitful conversations.

Mike was converted 30 years ago after hearing a campus preacher.  What can you do for Christ?

Note: Bro Mike went on to Glory in Feb. 2013 and he took many souls with him. What about you, dear friend?

Paul at UA

Paul, a student at the University of Arizona, was converted after hearing Bro. Jed in 2008.  He spent hours ministering with us and boldly declaring his new faith in Jesus.

Prayers of Repentance at Texas A&M

Feb. 6th 2009, Texas A&M:

Late in the day, I gave an expository sermon on Psalm 94 and by now it was almost as if I was speaking in a church service.  I called the remaining group to pray that God would bring revival to the campus.  About 15 of us joined hands in a circle.

I asked, “Are there any of you that have sin in your life that you will now repent of?”

Several indicated that they did, so I led them in a prayer with them repeating after me concerning repentance, faith in the Lord, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

Afterwards, one student read out of James concerning dead faith.  Next he directed a word of encouragement to me from Job 27.  I had dinner and discussion with several that evening.
