Dear Brother Jed,

I engaged in conversation with you today at the University of Arizona and I never thought I would say this, but thank you. You answered my questions and treated me with respect, and I sincerely appreciate that. I am battling with my beliefs right now, and I think you were able to shed some good light into my life. I know many of my fellow students make a mockery of what you say but I believe everything you say is in earnest. I appreciate that you care about your fellow man enough to subject yourself to that just to try to get people to turn from their sins. Although we may not see eye to eye, I respect you and wish you well in your journey with Christ.
