Sister Kirsten started out the preaching at noon at Texas Tech.
Within a half an hour, a Chinese man named Jim saw Joshua's sign that said "Heaven or Hell?"
The man, who was a visiting scholar asked, "Are these same, or direct opposite?"
Jim had come to America to learn English, study economics, and read the Bible. Joshua had ministered to many Chinese people and visiting scholars before he became a preacher and was able to communicate the gospel clearly to Jim, despite Jim's limited English.
Jim prayed to receive salvation!
Brandon, a student at Arizona State University, followed Sister Pat to the car at the end of one of the preaching days. He had seen Brother Jed and Brother Dean preach in years past. He was acquainted with other hecklers from the University of Arizona and knew Dean. He was softening over the years. As they waited for Brother Joshua to pull up the car, Sister Pat witnessed to him. He was a Jewish boy and she asked if he had met his Messiah yet. Then she had him read Isaiah 53 and asked him if it made sense to him. He replied that it did. She then asked if he wanted to be saved. He said he did. Right there he made a commitment to Christ! Sister Pat was able to reap the harvest of much planting and watering that had been done in Brandon's heart!
