The chief priests and the teachers of the Law became angry when they saw the wonderful things he was doing and the children shouting in the Temple, "Praise to David's Son!"

This is the day of the LORD's victory; let us be happy, let us celebrate!

May God bless the one who comes in the name of the LORD! From the Temple of the LORD we bless you.

The people who were in front and those who followed behind began to shout, "Praise God! God bless him who comes in the name of the Lord!

God bless the coming kingdom of King David, our father! Praise be to God!"

From now on, I tell you, you will never see me again until you say, 'God bless him who comes in the name of the Lord.' "

When he came near Jerusalem, at the place where the road went down the Mount of Olives, the large crowd of his disciples began to thank God and praise him in loud voices for all the great things that they had seen:

"God bless the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory to God!"

So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, shouting, "Praise God! God bless him who comes in the name of the Lord! God bless the King of Israel!"

"Do not be afraid, city of Zion! Here comes your king, riding on a young donkey."

"Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom he is pleased!"
