Go away from me, you sinful people. I will obey the commands of my God.

O God, how I wish you would kill the wicked! How I wish violent people would leave me alone!

Then I will say to them, 'I never knew you. Get away from me, you wicked people!'

"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Away from me, you that are under God's curse! Away to the eternal fire which has been prepared for the Devil and his angels!

But he will say again, 'I don't know where you come from. Get away from me, all you wicked people!'

I call to the LORD for help, and from his sacred hill he answers me.

You know how troubled I am; you have kept a record of my tears. Aren't they listed in your book?

The LORD saved me from death; he stopped my tears and kept me from defeat.

He is near to those who call to him, who call to him with sincerity.

You people who live in Jerusalem will not weep any more. The LORD is compassionate, and when you cry to him for help, he will answer you.

"Remember, LORD, that I have served you faithfully and loyally, and that I have always tried to do what you wanted me to." And he began to cry bitterly.

to go back to Hezekiah and say to him, "I, the LORD, the God of your ancestor David, have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will let you live fifteen years longer.

In his life on earth Jesus made his prayers and requests with loud cries and tears to God, who could save him from death. Because he was humble and devoted, God heard him.
