Keep what you believe about this matter, then, between yourself and God. Happy are those who do not feel guilty when they do something they judge is right!

He rewards people for what they do and treats them as they deserve.

and that his love is constant. You yourself, O Lord, reward everyone according to their deeds.

Causing trouble is all they ever think about; every time they open their mouth someone is going to be hurt.

The righteous will be happy, and things will go well for them. They will get to enjoy what they have worked for.

But evil people are doomed; what they have done to others will now be done to them.

I, the LORD, search the minds and test the hearts of people. I treat each of them according to the way they live, according to what they do."

You make wise plans and do mighty things; you see everything that people do, and you reward them according to their actions.

"Now I, the Sovereign LORD, am telling you Israelites that I will judge each of you by what you have done. Turn away from all the evil you are doing, and don't let your sin destroy you.

For the Son of Man is about to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will reward each one according to his deeds.

Then the King will say to the people on his right, 'Come, you that are blessed by my Father! Come and possess the kingdom which has been prepared for you ever since the creation of the world.

naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you took care of me, in prison and you visited me.'

When did we ever see you a stranger and welcome you in our homes, or naked and clothe you?

The King will reply, 'I tell you, whenever you did this for one of the least important of these followers of mine, you did it for me!'

I was hungry but you would not feed me, thirsty but you would not give me a drink;

Then they will answer him, 'When, Lord, did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and we would not help you?'

These, then, will be sent off to eternal punishment, but the righteous will go to eternal life."

There is no difference between the one who plants and the one who waters; God will reward each one according to the work each has done.

So you should not pass judgment on anyone before the right time comes. Final judgment must wait until the Lord comes; he will bring to light the dark secrets and expose the hidden purposes of people's minds. And then all will receive from God the praise they deserve.

For all of us must appear before Christ, to be judged by him. We will each receive what we deserve, according to everything we have done, good or bad, in our bodily life.

Do not deceive yourselves; no one makes a fool of God. You will reap exactly what you plant.

If you plant in the field of your natural desires, from it you will gather the harvest of death; if you plant in the field of the Spirit, from the Spirit you will gather the harvest of eternal life.

I will also kill her followers, and then all the churches will know that I am the one who knows everyone's thoughts and wishes. I will repay each of you according to what you have done.

And I saw the dead, great and small alike, standing before the throne. Books were opened, and then another book was opened, the book of the living. The dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books.

"Listen!" says Jesus. "I am coming soon! I will bring my rewards with me, to give to each one according to what he has done.
