As Peter was about to go in, Cornelius met him, fell at his feet, and bowed down before him.

But when our time with them was over, we left and went on our way. All of them, together with their wives and children, went with us out of the city to the beach, where we all knelt and prayed.

At this the LORD became angry with Moses and said, "What about your brother Aaron, the Levite? I know that he can speak well. In fact, he is now coming to meet you and will be glad to see you.

So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, shouting, "Praise God! God bless him who comes in the name of the Lord! God bless the King of Israel!"

I hope to do so now. I would like to see you on my way to Spain, and be helped by you to go there, after I have enjoyed visiting you for a while.

But even though my physical condition was a great trial to you, you did not despise or reject me. Instead, you received me as you would an angel from heaven; you received me as you would Christ Jesus.

Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them. Remember those who are suffering, as though you were suffering as they are.

They have spoken to the church here about your love. Please help them to continue their trip in a way that will please God.

We Christians, then, must help these people, so that we may share in their work for the truth.

Be determined and confident, for you will be the leader of these people as they occupy this land which I promised their ancestors.

Just be determined, be confident; and make sure that you obey the whole Law that my servant Moses gave you. Do not neglect any part of it and you will succeed wherever you go.

Remember that I have commanded you to be determined and confident! Do not be afraid or discouraged, for I, the LORD your God, am with you wherever you go."

David was now in great trouble, because his men were all very bitter about losing their children, and they were threatening to stone him; but the LORD his God gave him courage.

Trust in the LORD. Have faith, do not despair. Trust in the LORD.

So, in all our trouble and suffering we have been encouraged about you, friends. It was your faith that encouraged us,
