I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever.

When that day comes, you will ask him in my name; and I do not say that I will ask him on your behalf,

for the Father himself loves you. He loves you because you love me and have believed that I came from God.

But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith will not fail. And when you turn back to me, you must strengthen your brothers."

The men who had been taking care of the pigs saw what happened, so they ran off and spread the news in the town and among the farms.

And so he is able, now and always, to save those who come to God through him, because he lives forever to plead with God for them.

For Christ did not go into a Holy Place made by human hands, which was a copy of the real one. He went into heaven itself, where he now appears on our behalf in the presence of God.

I am writing this to you, my children, so that you will not sin; but if anyone does sin, we have someone who pleads with the Father on our behalf---Jesus Christ, the righteous one.

And Christ himself is the means by which our sins are forgiven, and not our sins only, but also the sins of everyone.

We know that we belong to God even though the whole world is under the rule of the Evil One.

The huge dragon was thrown out---that ancient serpent, named the Devil, or Satan, that deceived the whole world. He was thrown down to earth, and all his angels with him.

All people living on earth will worship it, except those whose names were written before the creation of the world in the book of the living which belongs to the Lamb that was killed.

Those who did not have their name written in the book of the living were thrown into the lake of fire.
