The people were all so amazed that they started saying to one another, "What is this? Is it some kind of new teaching? This man has authority to give orders to the evil spirits, and they obey him!"

When the people saw it, they were afraid, and praised God for giving such authority to people.

The crowds were all amazed at what Jesus had done. "Could he be the Son of David?" they asked.

They all were filled with fear and praised God. "A great prophet has appeared among us!" they said; "God has come to save his people!"

The people were amazed as they saw the dumb speaking, the crippled made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they praised the God of Israel.

They were all completely amazed! Full of fear, they praised God, saying, "What marvelous things we have seen today!"

He placed his hands on her, and at once she straightened herself up and praised God.

When one of them saw that he was healed, he came back, praising God in a loud voice.

So the Council warned them even more strongly and then set them free. They saw that it was impossible to punish them, because the people were all praising God for what had happened.

But as soon as the demon was driven out, the man started talking, and everyone was amazed. "We have never seen anything like this in Israel!" they exclaimed.

But many in the crowd believed in him and said, "When the Messiah comes, will he perform more miracles than this man has?"

Since the beginning of the world nobody has ever heard of anyone giving sight to a person born blind.
