I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven; what you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven, and what you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven."

If you forgive people's sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."

and they sent the following letter by them:

And so we have met together and have all agreed to choose some messengers and send them to you. They will go with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul,

We send you, then, Judas and Silas, who will tell you in person the same things we are writing.

eat no food that has been offered to idols; eat no blood; eat no animal that has been strangled; and keep yourselves from sexual immorality. You will do well if you take care not to do these things. With our best wishes."

When the people read it, they were filled with joy by the message of encouragement.

you are to hand this man over to Satan for his body to be destroyed, so that his spirit may be saved in the Day of the Lord.

When you forgive people for what they have done, I forgive them too. For when I forgive---if, indeed, I need to forgive anything---I do it in Christ's presence because of you,

I know what you do; I know that you have a little power; you have followed my teaching and have been faithful to me. I have opened a door in front of you, which no one can close.
