The help that Egypt gives is useless. So I have nicknamed Egypt, 'The Harmless Dragon.' "

The Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says to the people, "Come back and quietly trust in me. Then you will be strong and secure." But you refuse to do it.

Moses answered, "Don't be afraid! Stand your ground, and you will see what the LORD will do to save you today; you will never see these Egyptians again.

The LORD will fight for you, and all you have to do is keep still."

You will not have to fight this battle. Just take up your positions and wait; you will see the LORD give you victory. People of Judah and Jerusalem, do not hesitate or be afraid. Go out to battle, and the LORD will be with you!"

So it is best for us to wait in patience---to wait for him to save us---

With his great power the LORD warned me not to follow the road which the people were following. He said,

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather be afraid of God, who can destroy both body and soul in hell.

You are going to hear the noise of battles close by and the news of battles far away; but do not be troubled. Such things must happen, but they do not mean that the end has come.

'Men of Israel, listen! Today you are going into battle. Do not be afraid of your enemies or lose courage or panic.
