He lived to see Ephraim's children and grandchildren. He also lived to receive the children of Machir son of Manasseh into the family.

Job lived a hundred and forty years after this, long enough to see his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

And then he died at a very great age.

Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a real blessing.

Happy is the man who has many such arrows. He will never be defeated when he meets his enemies in the place of judgment.

Your wife will be like a fruitful vine in your home, and your children will be like young olive trees around your table.
