but he answered, "Do you think this is enough for a hundred men?" Elisha replied, "Give it to them to eat, because the LORD says that they will eat and still have some left over."

So the servant set the food before them, and as the LORD had said, they all ate, and there was still some left over.

Then Jesus touched their eyes and said, "Let it happen, then, just as you believe!"---

(Solomon had made a bronze platform and put it in the middle of the courtyard. It was eight feet square and five feet high. He mounted this platform, knelt down where everyone could see him, and raised his hands toward heaven.)

This made Elisha angry, and he said to the king, "You should have struck five or six times, and then you would have won complete victory over the Syrians; but now you will defeat them only three times."

The manna stopped falling then, and the Israelites no longer had any. From that time on they ate food grown in Canaan.

For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'The bowl will not run out of flour or the jar run out of oil before the day that I, the LORD, send rain.' "

When they were all full, he said to his disciples, "Gather the pieces left over; let us not waste a bit."
