Saved from Suicide!

Winter 2009

“Twenty-five years ago you literally saved my life.  I was a student at the University of  New Mexico and contemplating suicide.  I listened to you all week on the Mall and as a result, read the New Testament through.  I committed myself to the Lord.  I am now a research scientist here at the University and took the afternoon off to listen to you.”

Tonight I received a call from John Bilka from Glad Tidings Assembly in Lincoln, NE, informing me that Luke, the student we had influenced ( in Oct.) when we were preaching at the University of Nebraska, has been in all the Glad Tidings’ services since we left town.  I rejoice to hear that students we have touched get connected  with a local church and godly pastor —Bro.
