Public Prayer for Deliverance From Sin!

November 13, 2013, University of Central Arkansas:

On the sidelines a crowd of 12 encircled Sister Pat pleading for sin. With Bible open she read passages from I John and Romans arguing that the Christian walk is one of victory over sin. “We are all sinners! No one is perfect! Stop judging us!” they cried. , a young man to her left stood up and said, “I agree with her. If God is powerful enough to create the world, he is powerful enough to keep me from sinning. I believe that through faith and the power of the Holy Spirit I can be free from sin. I do sin, but it is because I want to, not because I can't stop...and I hate it.” Pat asked Chris, “Are you willing to repent?” And he answered, “Yes.” knelt and prayed for deliverance in front of the crowd.

Jed.However, as a result of the preaching, he was now a believer in Jesus. Bro. Jed asked him if he had found a church.Charles had read the Bible, but he wasn’t sure if he needed a church, so Bro. Jed counseled him on the need for fellowship.Charles gave Bro. Jed his contact information to pass on to Pastor Billy Henderson of Lexington Christian Fellowship.

Backslider Returns to Christ

September 30, 2013, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee:

As Bro. Jed started the meeting, a 17-year-old freshman named Eugene walked out of the art building. The public proclamation of the Word of God, combined with the move of the Holy Spirit brought Eugene to conviction of sin. After listening for a short time he walked over to Sis. Pat and Bro. Mikhail and said, “I need to get right with God!” They prayed with Eugene who returned two days later with a testimony of salvation through Christ.
Eugene explained to Sis. Cindy that he had become a Christian in junior high school but when he entered 9th grade some agnostic family members had talked him out of his faith. Backsliders are often the first to become convicted under the anointed preaching.
