i1 [A Psalm of David.] i0 par Ascribe unto Jehovah, O you sons of God, ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength. Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due His name; bow down before Jehovah in the beauty of holiness. The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters; the Mighty God of Glory thunders; Jehovah is over many waters. The voice of Jehovah is powerful, the voice of Jehovah is full of majesty. The voice of Jehovah breaks the cedars; yea, Jehovah shatters the cedars of Lebanon. He also makes them skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young oryx. The voice of Jehovah cleaves the flames of fire. The voice of Jehovah shakes the wilderness; Jehovah shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of Jehovah causes the deer to give birth, and lays bare the forests; and in His temple they all say, Glory! Jehovah has dwelt at the Flood; yea, Jehovah remains as King forever. Jehovah will give strength to His people; Jehovah will bless His people with peace.
