after saying to them, "Take nothing with you for the trip: no walking stick, no beggar's bag, no food, no money, not even an extra shirt.

wherever people don't welcome you, leave that town and shake the dust off your feet as a warning to them."

Then Jesus asked his disciples, "When I sent you out that time without purse, bag, or shoes, did you lack anything?" "Not a thing," they answered.

Do not carry any gold, silver, or copper money in your pockets;

do not carry a beggar's bag for the trip or an extra shirt or shoes or a walking stick. Workers should be given what they need.

and ordered them, "Don't take anything with you on the trip except a walking stick---no bread, no beggar's bag, no money in your pockets.

Wear sandals, but don't carry an extra shirt."

He said to another man, "Follow me." But that man said, "Sir, first let me go back and bury my father."

Jesus answered, "Let the dead bury their own dead. You go and proclaim the Kingdom of God."

When food was brought, the man said, "I will not eat until I have said what I have to say." Laban said, "Go on and speak."

But he said, "Don't make us stay. The LORD has made my journey a success; let me go back to my master."

David said to Ahimelech, "Do you have a spear or a sword you can give me? The king's orders made me leave in such a hurry that I didn't have time to get my sword or any other weapon."

Then she had the donkey saddled, and ordered the servant, "Make the donkey go as fast as it can, and don't slow down unless I tell you to."

Look straight ahead with honest confidence; don't hang your head in shame.
