On every New Moon Festival and every Sabbath people of every nation will come to worship me here in Jerusalem," says the LORD.

The LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "This is the country that I am going to give to your descendants." Then Abram built an altar there to the LORD, who had appeared to him.

Jacob got up early next morning, took the stone that was under his head, and set it up as a memorial. Then he poured olive oil on it to dedicate it to God.

So we built an altar, not to burn sacrifices or make offerings,

Men who live far away will come and help to rebuild the Temple of the LORD. And when it is rebuilt, you will know that the LORD Almighty sent me to you. This will all happen if you fully obey the commands of the LORD your God.

The priests who serve in the Jewish place of worship have no right to eat any of the sacrifice on our altar.
