"Do not speak evil of God, and do not curse a leader of your people.

The people will wander through the land, discouraged and hungry. In their hunger and their anger they will curse their king and their God. They may look up to the sky

Paul answered, "My fellow Israelites, I did not know that he was the High Priest. The scripture says, 'You must not speak evil of the ruler of your people.' "

Don't pay attention to everything people say---you may hear your servant insulting you,

and you know yourself that you have insulted other people many times.

Jesus answered, "I tell you that if they keep quiet, the stones themselves will start shouting."

Martha was upset over all the work she had to do, so she came and said, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do all the work by myself ? Tell her to come and help me!"

Whatever is covered up will be uncovered, and every secret will be made known.

So then, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in broad daylight, and whatever you have whispered in private in a closed room will be shouted from the housetops.
