"I have chosen Bezalel, the son of Uri and grandson of Hur, from the tribe of Judah,

Take care to make them according to the plan that I showed you on the mountain.

The work they do as priests is really only a copy and a shadow of what is in heaven. It is the same as it was with Moses. When he was about to build the Sacred Tent, God told him, "Be sure to make everything according to the pattern you were shown on the mountain."

Others of their fellow Levites were in charge of the Temple treasury and the storerooms for gifts dedicated to God.

He placed in the Temple all the objects his father had dedicated to God, as well as the gold and silver objects that he himself dedicated.

So King Asa took all the silver and gold that was left in the Temple and the palace, and sent it by some of his officials to Damascus, to King Benhadad of Syria, the son of Tabrimmon and grandson of Hezion, with this message:

Ahaz took the silver and gold from the Temple and the palace treasury, and sent it as a present to the emperor.

Hezekiah sent him all the silver in the Temple and in the palace treasury;
